Welcome to Greenbrook Primary School’s website.
We are a great little school tucked away in the northern Melbourne suburb of Epping. At the moment the school is considering a proposal to merge with Epping Primary School. Until Friday June 24 2011 we are undertaking consultation and seeking community opinion on the proposal.
We are considering the merge because while we are a close knit school and offer a quality education, our out-of-the way location means it is difficult for us to attract families from beyond the immediate surrounds. Our small numbers mean we cannot provide as expansive program as we would like. Merging with a larger school would give us the opportunity to remain where we are but give us access to a greater range of resources including teacher expertise. Merging would secure the long term future of the school.
